⚠️ Recruitment Scam Alert – Protecting Our Jobseekers
Recrute Genio Pty Ltd (ABN 37 691 591 303 | ACN 691 591 303) are committed to ethical, transparent recruitment and the safety of every person we engage with. Unfortunately, scams targeting jobseekers are increasing across Australia and the Asia–Pacific region. These jobs and employment scams often promise unrealistic pay or “guaranteed” jobs to trick people into sending money or personal information.
🚩 How to Recognise a Potential Scam
Be cautious if you encounter:
-
Unexpected contact via email, SMS, WhatsApp message, social media, letter or phone call or you come across an advertisement offering a job you didn’t apply for
-
Impersonation of our consultants using fake profiles, stolen branding, or unofficial email addresses
-
Suspicious recruiter profiles — generic photos, incomplete details, or unusual posting activity
-
Too‑good‑to‑be‑true offers — high pay for little work, no interview process, or “guaranteed” returns
-
Requests for money or personal data before any formal hiring process
-
Instructions to transfer funds or handle payments for someone else — this may be linked to criminal activity such as money laundering
✅ How to Verify It’s Really Us
-
All official emails come only from our verified domain: info@recrutegenio.au
-
We will never ask you for payment at any stage of recruitment
-
We will never request that you transfer money or purchase items on our behalf
-
If in doubt, contact us directly using the phone number or email listed on our official website — not the details in the suspicious message
